During this Mistral Boréal exchange, I have been having a great time discovering Finland and meeting new people. So far I have been to a Halloween party. It is really interesting to see how people celebrate this event in Finland. Especially because it isn’t that important in France.
I also went to see an ice hockey match, which was an amazing experience, and it was my first time watching a live game. I could really feel how important hockey is in Finnish culture. Another part of my stay that I really enjoyed was visiting the city centre of Helsinki. I walked around, visited some shops, and discovered beautiful places. The mix of modern buildings and old architecture makes the city very interesting to explore. Finally, I visited Turku, one of the oldest cities in Finland. I saw the castle and walked around the town during the school trip.
Overall, this exchange is an unforgettable experience. It allows me to learn more about Finnish culture, visit new places, and meet new people.
