Day 1
We started our first day at the schools auditorium. There we met the chinese pupils, and had a small welcoming seremony. We got to know each other a little bit. We were separated in to 4 groups and gave the chinese pupils a tour though the school.
In the afternoon came a little bit bigger tour, through Helsinki centrum. We interduced some important places as the Helsinki Cathedral, the Senate square, the Market place (Kauppatori), the old Market hall, Allas sea pool and Uspenski Cathedral.
It started raining, but we didn’t let the bad weather ruin out plan to go to the Helsinki Swimming Stadium. We had fun despite the coldness and rain.
We returned back to school to get the chinese students luggage and to take a group photo. The days program had come to and end so we took our chinese friends back home with us.

Day 2
Second day for Chinese students in Munkkiniemi school started with home economics lessons in which biscuits were baked. After that students had lesson in Munkkiniemi school’s new science and technology class.
Half past twelve we took bus to Finish nature centre Haltia. In Haltia there was a guided tour, which took one hour. The tour introduced us to Finnish nature. After guided tour we took bus to Noux national park. In Noux we walked punarinnankierros nature path which is about 2.4 kilometres long. We stopped by Mustalampi (black pond) during our walk. After walk we returned to our buses and headed back.

Day 4
We started the day by laying Finnish baseball with the Chinese students. We had a lot of fun and everyone got to hit the ball at least once. We played in four groups. Everyone was laughing and it was great last activity.
After it we had the closing ceremony. Riki and Antti had prepared a slideshow about all the activities. After the slideshow one Chinese student who sings in Beijing Opera sang to us. Then all the Chinese students sang a beautiful traditional love song to us. Gifts were exchanged and the ceremony closed by Merja.
A big thank you to everyone involved, we had a great time making new friends!
